- Aim with the paddle
- Hit the ball near an end to send it out wide, in the middle to send it straight up.
- Brass-banded blocks
- Take two hits. The first one cracks the band.

Questions
Is Pocket Arcade free?
Yes. Every run is free to play in your browser. There is no account, no sign-up and no advertising.
How does a run work?
A run is three boards in a fixed order. You have three balls and 180 seconds of play to clear them. The clock only runs while the ball is moving, so reading the next board costs nothing.
How is the score counted?
Every hit that knocks a point off a block is worth 100. Clearing a board adds 500, and each ball you still have when the run ends adds 10. There are no time bonuses or random multipliers, so equal play gives equal scores.
Is the daily run the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone who opens a daily run on the same UTC date gets the same three boards, in the same order, with the same launch directions. Scores are kept in your own browser and are not checked by a server, and a mouse, a finger and a keyboard feel different, so treat comparisons as friendly.
What happens if I pause or switch tabs?
The game pauses at once and nothing moves until you resume, after a short countdown. The run is then marked as resumed, and resumed results are kept apart from uninterrupted ones.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Slide your finger on the board or on the strip below it. In Settings you can switch to Drag, which moves the paddle by how far you slide so your thumb never covers the play.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After your first visit the game, all boards and the published daily runs are saved on your device, so it keeps working without a connection.
